We Won An Award!

Back in April of this year, FOSTER Studios received an email stating that we had been nominated for ‘Video Production Company of the Year’ in London and the South East of England by the Prestige Awards. We’re incredibly excited to say that several months later, we won!

It really has been so incredibly up and down since our inception at the start of 2020. The struggles that face any new business coinciding with a pandemic meant that things never truly got going until July of last year. And even then, things were extremely tough. With the economy in tatters, we found ourselves providing our services pro-bono to businesses in the local area to help them get back on their feet, but also to make ourselves known in the community and hopefully attract future clients.

Although this may not sound overly appealing as the business was making next to no income, it has without doubt led to opportunities later down the line that we wouldn’t have attained had we not delivered those projects. I was honestly amazed at how many small, medium, and big businesses in the local area wanted to pursue professional video production and photography.

From August 2020 to now, exactly a year, there has been no significant quiet patch which is something I have always experienced on a personal level. I’m sure there will be less busy periods in the months and years to come, but for now I’m sure fellow creators will agree it is amazing to see how many businesses have such an appetite have for what we do. 

2021 has certainly been a year of productivity, with us moving into an office space at the CEME Campus in Rainham, as well as seeing us invest heavily in equipment which ensures we’re able to constantly improve our quality of service. We also brought on our first intern in Reuben, who has been doing an incredible job coming up with new marketing strategies and concepts for social media posts.

Above all else though, I am incredibly proud that we are able to take on big projects, as well as still offer a great service to small and micro businesses. This is exactly what I wanted to do when founding FOSTER Studios – provide businesses of all types and sizes with amazing content at an affordable price point. Thank you to all our incredible clients that have worked with us over the past 18 months – whether you worked with us just once, or we’re still working together now, we are hugely grateful!
